I went to his site and posted a comment. Whether or not he deletes it we shall see but i thought i would put it here on yours so that everyone can see it.
Ok I am one of those people who love to make sure the facts are out there. I actually called into 99.3 this morning. It is my favorite station and I Love Wild Bill. He did not say people who have fake trees suck he said the trees suck. I say that because I even called him and told him he should be ashamed for harrassing my little tree (yes that was me). He said the tree has no feelings (bla blah). First off come on man there are more important issues in this world. Second he has dealt with those issues. This man has gone out of his way for the TAPS organization as well as every local charity we have. So before you go calling my favorite jock ugly names you should realize that talking about a tree that is fake is just a personal opinion. (And guess what my tree is artificial.) Kinda like what kind of jelly do you want on your toast as opposed to when is the last time your children ate because you are homeless. I am standing up for him because I have listened to him since he got here and think he is awesome. He does a great show and so much community service it is not even funny. So before you get up in arms and start calling him ugly things you should maybe move out of the boondocks so you can get a radio signal in the mornings and listen to this wonderful show and this wonderful man who stands up for traditional values and likes to just have a little fun on his show.
Also I heard your call and you are a chicken. You are one of those little computer people who does not have the courage of his convictions and can sit behind his screen and do whatever. As a matter of fact I am sure you will delete my comment so that you can have just your point of view listed.

I Listen to Kissin' 99.3 often and this whole discussion is crazy. I posted the following comment on the other guys site. More than likely he will read the blog and delete it, so I don't know how much good it will do.
If it is everyones right to have their own opinion, then why are you making such a big deal about what he had to say. In making such a big deal about this, saying that he is so bad, you are no better than he is. Opinions are just that, you don't have to like them and you certainly don't have to listen to them. Weather you want/have a real or fake tree, its Christmas there is no need for all of this drama. If you and your wife had such a problem with what he said then simply don't listen to the show anymore, there are other stations on the radio. This is just my opinion.

Well I went to his website and also posted a comment. I think he is being childish and immature complaining about you and the comment you mad about "artificial trees suck" You DID NOT say the people suck, just the tree. If someone is going to take offense to that, they have major issues and honestly sound a little PSYCHO!!!!If people spend their life taking offense to everything, what are they living their life for.... I cannot stand people like that and I have to say I love listening to Kissin 99.3 and I listen to Wild Bill EVERY morning and my day is just not complete without hearing his jokes and his funny show. GROW a sense of humor people and enjoy the holidays. This is the CHRISTmas season so lets act like it. I really wish that COWARD would call back in so Wild Bill can have his say with him. Keep on doing a wonderful job Wild Bill and we all love you out here......

MY WIFE AND I HAVE HAD ARTIFICIAL TREE FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS WE HEAR COMMENTS LIKE THE ONE WILD BILL MADE JUST ABOUT EVERY YEAR. IT DOES NOT BOTHER ME HE HAS HIS OPINION EXCEPT WOULD PUT AN AUBURN TIGER ON IT (LOL) :) WAR EAGLE. I TOO HAVE POSTED A COMMENT ON HIS BLOG AND THAT LITTLE CRAP DOES NOT HAVE THE BALLS TO POST IT OR ANY OF THE OTHER COMMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN MADE. SO TELL SCROOGE TO HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS. I did not hear Wild Bill's comments concerning the fake Christmas tree but I heard his rebuke of this idiot this morning on my way to work. Apparently this guy along with his wife have nothing better to do with their time than to make a comment about a Christmas tree into a terroristic threat. Funny thing is Wild Bill, for years I told my husband we would never erect an artificial tree in our home and yet after 15 years of Marriage and 4 children I have discovered the ole' ugly artificial tree suits our purposes and we made the purchase last year; For no other reason than even in a 2600 SQFT home, we needed one of those "pencil" trees that would not require me to move my entire living room around in order to accomodate the huge REAL trees I have always purchased in the past. DUDE! Real or fake - Get a life! Get a job! Concern yourself with important issues of this world and leave my man Bill alone!

First of all, I owe you and your listeners an apology. My blog software sent every comment for the last two weeks into limbo because the site had been hacked and I had the dogs out. It was my mistake to miss them. All except one comment has now been published.
As for the topic; you did acknowledge my question when I called and asked if you said that artificial tree owners ‘sucked’. (I suppose that part was not broadcast?)
If you want to debate the finer points of Christmas trees, that’s fine by me. I think everyone has a right to own whatever tree they want, if they want one at all. Why should a particular tree or person ‘suck’ at all for their preferences? It’s Christmas!
Well… if it makes for good ratings, then anything can suck, I guess.
One of your listeners commented to my site that they thought their comment would be deleted. It was lost for about 48 hours but not deleted. I should be so lucky here, huh?
If you want to continue this little war… I blog for free. My time is your time… you’re a good topic.
